Mow it all down
The DR tow-behind brush and field mower is independently powered. Towed by an ATV or small tractor, it can clear 2 acres an hour. The mower has a 44-inch cutting width and can handle woody material up to 1 1/2 inches thick. Cut material won't clog the chute because of the mower's deep deck and open discharge chute. The mower has a large gas tank—enough for more than two hours of mowing. Price: $1,999 (13 hp) to $2,479 (17 hp) info: www.drpower.com

Welder, generator in one
Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has introduced an all-in-one, wire welder/generator and named it the Renegade 180. The Miller welder can weld mild steel from 24 gauge soft metal and produces 5,000 watts of peak power for running power tools, lights and even a plasma cutter. It comes standard with a 12-foot welding gun. The optional Spoolmate 3035 spool gun and extension allows the gun to reach up to 45 feet away from the power source. The Renegade is available in either recoil or electric start and runs on a 10-hp Kohler engine. Its 1.8-gallon fuel tank allows the Renegade to run for up to three hours under a continuous load of 3,000 watts. Price: $2,677 for recoil start; $2,877 for electric start. Info: www.millerwelds.com
