relaxing game of checkers. With each glance, Down at the Store portrays the
cherished memories of the past. The limited edition prints--only 2001 are

success. After pursuing a career in commercial art, DeLoney returned to his
roots--his family farm in Ozark, Ala. Today, he is recognized as one of the
South's top painters. His trademark use of watercolors has earned him the name
"The Watercolor Man." According to DeLoney, his paintings of rural America
depict a life that is quickly disappearing.
