Down at the Store

Jack DeLoney captures the nostalgia of country living in his newest work, Down at the Store. This limited edition print shows a 1940's-era country store as the hub of activity--neighbors gathering together, ladies shopping and men playing a relaxing game of checkers. With each glance, Down at the Store portrays the cherished memories of the past. The limited edition prints--only 2001 are available--are sized 17 3/4 " x 26 1/2 " and will be signed and numbered by the artist.

About the Artist
Jack DeLoney knows the sweetness of success. After pursuing a career in commercial art, DeLoney returned to his roots--his family farm in Ozark, Ala. Today, he is recognized as one of the South's top painters. His trademark use of watercolors has earned him the name "The Watercolor Man." According to DeLoney, his paintings of rural America depict a life that is quickly disappearing.
