Market Street

Artist Jack DeLoney captures the excitement of the cotton market during the early 20th century with his newest work, Market Street. This limited edition print depicts an important event in the life of farmers throughout the South, as they are full of anticipation of how their cotton will rate on the local cotton market. With each glance, you too will experience the same joys as the growers in this print. Each of the 2002 limited edition prints--sized 13 1/4" by 23"--will be signed and numbered by the artist.

About the Artist
Jack DeLoney knows the sweetness of success. After pursuing a career in commercial art, DeLoney returned to his roots--his family farm in Ozark, Ala. Today, he is recognized as one of the South's top painters. His trademark use of watercolors has earned him the name "The Watercolor Man." According to DeLoney, his paintings of rural America depict a life that is quickly disappearing.
