Build This Custom Country Table
We made this large dining table out of old barn wood. Then we shipped it to Texas where it's been the most popular and conversational
piece of furniture in our 2007 Idea House and Farmstead.
Here are a few behind the scenes detailed photos of The Progressive Farmer Custom Country
table being built in an Illinois woodwork shop. The table top is made
of wood recovered from an Iowa corn crib. The turnings, or legs, are made from
10-inch poplar beams recovered from an 1850s barn.
