Multipurpose Gates

Sometimes two gates are better than one. Glenn Montgomery of Cave Spring, Ga.,
sometimes wants to allow calves access to pasture or feed that he doesn't want
their mamas to have. He built a gate with calf-sized openings (17" wide by 52"
tall) and mounted it on the same post as a regular gate. When he wants to allow
calves through the opening, he closes the calf-friendly gate only. When he wants
to keep both calves and cows in, he can close both gates.
