. or at least he will raise multiflora roses so he can cut them off at the base.
Metzger used wood strips (1 x 3 x 8) to make a triangular frame. He jams the
base of the frame under a bush, then uses the third leg to raise and hold the
bush off the ground so he can cut the plant base. Sure saves a lot of thorn
cuts, Metzger says.
