Tractor Supply Company Photo Contest

"This was taken early one morning, on friend's farm in the mountains of West Virginia. That farm was built in 1811 and looks over hills that some of the civil war was fought on. If only that home and farm could speak..the stories it would tell. It was a bit chilly, dew was on the fields, and the morning mist was giving way to a sunshine and blue skies. The only thing to break the stillness... was of the animals in the barn and these fellows greeting the day. I had my hands curled around a cup of coffee for warmth and an old ( 20+) year old camera in the other. This is was I saw." Photo: Lucy Howell
