That's why Progressive Farmer continually updates its Progressive Insight marketing database of more than 1.2 million farm operators. You can rely on the information within our database because it's supplied by growers themselves. Progressive Insight also uses data from agricultural associations, agricultural product purchases, market research surveys and government records to ensure the validity of our database. These extensive efforts mean Progressive Insight is one of the most highly deliverable prospect databases available for relationship marketing.

The Progressive Insight database:
  • Is maintained on the computers at Time Customer Service (TCS) in Tampa, Fla.
  • Ensures deliverability through monthly processing by TCS, a National Change of Address (NCOA) authorized vendor
  • Downloads to a PC file server platform on a monthly basis
  • Offers query functions via the Internet for authorized customers
  • Rents on a one-time basis or for multi-use and unlimited use
  • Includes telephone numbers on 60-plus percent of the file
  • Is selectable by farm size, telephone number, geography (state/county/SCF/zip), livestock head count or cropland acreage
  • Is deliverable by label, tape, cartridge or PC-based file


  • Names within the Progressive Insight marketing database can be selected based on two categories of criteria to customize your list. The first category, called "quantity" demographics, contains exact counts of acres or number of head of livestock. The second category is referred to as "interest indicators." For these, we have an affirmative indication, but no acreage counts.
